Everton 3 Chelsea 1
Everton have moved to 13th in the Premiership after a comfortable 3-1 win
against third placed Chelsea. The game came to life when Tore Andre Flo put
Chelsea ahead on 37 minutes. After that though, Chelsea didn't have
another shot on target as Everton dominated the game. First Gary Speed fired
home a minute later for the equaliser. Then in the second half Everton pressed
forward and got their reward with a Duncan Ferguson goal on 62 minutes from a
Nick Barmby corner. Chelsea could not produce a reply despite the introduction
of Vialli and Michael Duberry put the final nail in his sides's coffin when he
put the ball into his own net after Ferguson had lost control.
